Seasoned players use different techniques to win at card games. One of them includes card memorizing. The card memorizing technique too is done in different ways by different players. The most used technique to memorize cards is by dressing them in certain costumes. This means players associate a particular card with some other thing. Now to memorize a whole deck of cards, players usually pick an entire platform like a living room or a playground or circus and associate the cards to each object found in these platforms.

Apart from associating each card with the objects found there, they also associate the cards (or objects) with each other and some sometimes even create a small storyline. Players after associating the cards to different objects, they memorise this information repeatedly (through the storyline sometimes) making them easier to recall whenever necessary. With the practice of memorising and recollection, players can make use of these techniques during card games like scratch card games and win at them. Apart from this, there are many other uses of memorizing cards. Read on to learn about them.

Boost the memory
Memorising cards leads to overall boost or improvement in memory. People get to remember more and more stuff easily while also recalling them quickly whenever required. Hence it is a well-known fact that the outstanding way to increase your memory capacity is to start using your memory. It is when you push your boundaries, you will know your actual capacity.

Helps to remember long lists
With the memory boost, people can easily remember long lists too. It is a huge deal to remember 52 cards of a deck. With this, you can expect your memory to improve tremendously. In turn, you can remember many things easily which could be a long list of groceries or even the digits of the pi after the point.

Upgrade your imagination
As mentioned earlier, to remember 52 cards of a deck, players make use of platforms and connect the objects with a certain storyline. This storyline doesn’t have to be completed associated with reality or facts. It can be a completely fictional thing with unicorns or dragons or Spiderman or whatever one can think of. Once you start imagining and creating fictional stuff, you can experience an upgrade in your imagination capabilities.

Increase in mental agility with card memorisation
Mental agility refers to the condition in which your brain is able to process lots of skills. For example, you will be able to remember a lot of things, will be able to understand and process many items at a time, can be able to learn different skills and put them to use whenever required and such. This means with one skill of card memorisation, you will be able to learn and put to use many things.
