Acer launched a series of new devices due to its launch before the school back season in 2019. We'll cover the most interesting devices you might see later this year.

Acer's 2019 series includes a wooden desktop computer and more than six new or updated Windows 10 laptops.

Find out which Acer models have listed our best list of laptops.

Acer Aspire 3, 5 And 7 - Updated In 2019

Acer has updated its odd Aspire notebook series, high-end 7 and mid-range 5 and 3. These laptops look very similar, but they have minor specification updates and the USB ports are slightly rearranged. Some people also get a fingerprint reader, but which models will get what depends on the UK retailer's decision to stock.

The Aspire 7 will be available in July for about £1,000. You'll get a laptop designed for high-end work, such as editing videos, photos and playing games. It comes with the latest top-of-the-line Intel Core i7 H-series processors and up to 16GB of Ram, as well as dedicated graphics from Nvidia to help improve game performance. It is also equipped with a fast solid state drive and a high capacity hard drive.

Also launched is the Aspire 5, starting at £499. Available in a variety of sizes up to 15.6 inches, it is designed for multimedia tasks with Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 U-series processors to balance performance and power efficiency. Some versions of this notebook will also be equipped with AMD or Nvidia dedicated graphics.

We tested the Aspire 5 in 2017 and you can see it in our Acer Aspire 5 review.

Finally, there are 3 series in the Aspire series, which have a wide range of specifications and start at around £350. It will be available in 14, 15.6 and 17.3 inch versions, with a focus on a slimmer design than two siblings. The largest model will also be equipped with a built-in DVD drive. Check out our Acer Aspire 3 review from September 2018 to see how the model last year worked.

Acer Spin 3 - 2-In-1 Laptop With Stylus

Spin 3 is Acer's mid-range 2-in-1 laptop, which costs about £700. It has a 14-inch touch screen that can be flipped over to the back of the laptop so it can be used as a large tablet. The difference between it and last year's model (which we tested in March 2018) is that it now comes with a stylus for drawing and taking notes. The pen can be docked in a laptop or charged in a laptop. Unlike last year's models with low-power Intel Pentium processors, this year's Spin 3 will use Intel Core processors.

Acer ConceptD - Value For Money And Design

Acer also launched a series of design-centric computers called ConceptD. Models include the ConceptD 9, a laptop with a rotatable easel-style touch screen and extremely powerful internal controls.

The model is expected to start at around £5,000.

In addition to some significantly more standard notebooks, Acer also introduced the ConceptD 500 (below). This desktop computer features a unique white casing with a wooden finish on the top. There is also a Qi standard wireless charging pad at the top, which will be convenient if your phone supports it. Internally, there are some very powerful components, including the top-of-the-line Intel Core i9 processor. If this device enters the UK, please do not expect to pay less than £2,000.
