How To Text Wrap In Adobe Indesign

When you want to text wrap in Adobe InDesign, you can choose different ways for linking a text and the object. In case you need some instructions, then go through this article to understand how to text wrap in Adobe InDesign.
Steps for Text Wrapping in Adobe InDesign
• Open the Tools control panel.
• Select the Selection Tool option.
• Go to the Text Wrap control panel.
• After that, tap on the Wrap Around Bounding Box option.
• Now, you will get the text to the bounding box, and you can also undo it by tapping on the No Text Wrap option once again.
• You have to select the Jump Text option.
• After selecting it, you will get the text below the object.
• Choose the Wrap Around Object Shape option.
• Choose the wrap to option.
• After that, choose the Both Right and Left Sides option given below the Wrap options button.
• In case the space in the object is empty, then a text will try to get inserted in it.

Steps to Change Text Wrap Offset Values
• You have to change the space left between the text and the object.
• By going to the Text Wrap control panel, you can adjust the offset values.
• To do the procedure as mentioned above, you have to use the upward and downward arrows or enter the offset value.
• Select the direction of a text whether on the right-hand or left-hand corner.
• After selecting the object, press on the “Wrap to” button and after that, tap on the Right/Left side option.
• It will change the text into the selected direction.
• To solve the inner contours issue, you need to choose the “Wrap to” option.
• After that, click on the Largest Area button.
• Now, you have to send the text somewhere else to stay away from the text from the inner contours.
Steps for Inverting Text Wrap
• Choose the object which you want to text wrap inside.
• Choose the wrap around object shape option given below the Type button.
• You also need to choose the Detect Edges option.
• You have to transfer the text and insert it on top of the shape.
