An Ias Officer Field Day

A lot of people and mostly students or aspiring UPSC candidates are most curious about whenever the IAS topic comes up is the life of an IAS officer and how is their take of life.

Many think the IAS job prospect is all about relaxation & chilling up and usually doing the laptop work in their desk. But on the contrary, it is completely different indulging in complete frantic field work and restless days & nights especially in the times of emergencies.

An IAS officer is full of responsibilities and duties.

As everybody knows IAS is an A-grade job and on successful submission, the aspirant gets a lavish house and a high paying job full of perks and amenities.

But as above said IAS life is full of obstacles, does he get enough space & time to enjoy this job perks.

Life after becoming IAS

Usually, in a government job say Bank Po office starts with a 10 pm time but in IAS being A-grade government job time starts around 9 am a time where he/she is so packed in their job doesn’t even get time to make their personal calls.

An officer of top office level position handling a single state doesn’t get to eat his/her food at one particular routine and you can imagine what’s the case will be in emergencies.

Phone switched off most of the times and cannot evacuate his/her station without a permitted layoff.

The house they have been given is only come useful for the IAS officer sleeping but sure the family can have a hassle free life and it’s their right but at the times of emergencies they family too, worry about the safety.

The IAS
officer also gets a car for transportation but using for personal purposed levies some money charges on them. They also get to hire two or 3 servants but not mandatory for home.

Usually, these IAS officers work 10-12 hours a day and also less or more depending on the position. In their dictionary, Sunday or holiday rarely comes and in the rimes of emergencies or escalating situations, their time work has no limits and they have to stay nights and days solving issues.

For an IAS officer to get a long vacation is a rarely seen and even the officer gets it, he/she can be taken away anytime for duty.

So, see IAS life is never an easy life. A life full of hassle and worries but it is of nothing when it comes to serving your country.

If you want to live a life where you can change or make the difference, then go for the UPSC exam and makes this nation a better place by becoming a top officer says IAS.
