It will really be irritating if your wardrobe stinks of sweat and damping. You might not notice yet upon continuous usage of the wardrobe, the clothes will take up a stinky smell from the wardrobe. There are a number of home tricks to eradicate the bad smell from the wardrobe and drawer and have played to be efficient. You can use the scented drawer sachets available in the market or can make one yourself which will not only give you the idea of how the entire process works but will definitely educate you about how to save some pennies.

The basic process of creating scented sachets

You really don’t need to ponder or hunt a lot while making a small bag. The supplies required to build a small pouch are easily available in the mart. All you need is a fresh and clean cotton cloth, sewing needle or adhesive, thread, rice and the scent you want to incorporate.
Strengthen the cloth at first then fold it into halves. The next step includes sewing three sides together to form a pocket. Keep one end free to insert the rice. The fabric should have minimal weaving pattern so that the rice doesn’t outflow from the bag upon pressure.
For the scent, any fresh and dry element can be used. You can opt for lavender seeds, dried orange peels, vanilla sticks, cloves, dried mint, specific spices and various others. You can go crazy with any kind of smell you want your clothes to expel. However, you need to keep in mind that the element to be used should be dry so that it doesn’t rot and not in the form of powder as it will sieve out from the pouch. If the element rots, there are chances that it will stain your clothes and give out a foul smell.

Mix the fragrance with the rice and fill the pocket formed. Don’t overfill it as it may explode under pressure. After filling the bag sew the opening together and use it as scented drawer sachets. These will keep the wardrobe fresh and the rice will absorb any persisting damp keeping the clothes dry. You will definitely like the smell every time you open the wardrobe or drawer. Your clothes too will not feel damped.
