For keywords with high volumes, use exact matches

Pause low performing keywords
This is an extremely easy step, but one that is often ignored. When you view your keyword report, you may see a message “low search volume” at time. This means that the number of searches were very low for those keywords in a given period. In that case, the AdWords makes them inactive temporarily. These keywords get reactivated when there are more searches for them. If your account has a lot of low search keywords, your campaign performance may get affected negatively. So, it is suggested to delete low search keywords to make your campaign more streamlined.
Use a broad match identifier
This is another one of the most powerful keyword matches, even more than the exact match that gets you highly targeted traffic with less trouble. By merely adding a “+” and a “-“before a keyword you tell AdWords that the word has to be included in the search query, irrespective of any order.
Remove keywords which are not related to your landing page
A basic rule for higher conversions is that your landing page should support both ads as well as keywords. Hence, the landing page should be extremely relevant and offer others what is promised in the ad. It is also important that the content of the landing page is relevant with your campaign keywords. You can solve this issue by creating multiple landing pages and add the keywords in separate ad groups.
