The study intends to use human resource managers and employees working in four Colorado banks. Using the human resource managers as the study sample, they will help to provide information about the corporate culture of the banks and also motivational practices used and how they help to improve employee performance. There are two sampling techniques that include probabilistic and non-probabilistic. The probabilistic means that each subject has a known probability of selection (Babbie, 2012). Random sampling is a type of probabilistic sampling that involves the selection of sampling units selected on a random basis. The non-probabilistic sampling is where the samples gathered in the process that does not provide all individuals in the population equal chances of selection. There are over 25 banks in Colorado; therefore, so as to select four banks to represent all the other banks, the study will consider using random sampling method.
Random sampling method is the appropriate method for selecting the banks because the method ensures that the researcher knows the probability that the study will represent the population well. When using non-probability samples, the study may or may not represent the population well. Thus, it is important to use random sampling method because it tends to be more accurate and rigorous when conducting this research study (Babbie, 2012). The selection of employees in the banks will also be random selection because the method ensures that every employee in the population has an equal chance for selection. The employees together with human resource managers will be able to provide data through questionnaires and interviews about the corporation’s culture and also motivational practices and the impact on employee performance.

The article is of great relevance to this study as it provides a discussion of different culture, employees view the different cultures, and in which work environment employee like to work.

The employee’s job performance is an essential factor for business in competing in the global market. Thus, the researchers focused on testing the effect of the four elements of organization culture include organization climate, organization values, leadership styles, and work processes in employee performance. I consider this article as being essential because it will help understand how the different elements of organization culture impact the performance of employees. Based on the study, it is essential for managers to put more attention on the factors that have a significant impact on employee performance.
