With the new form of building materials available in the market, you can definitely revamp your property and make it look just as you have always wanted. Brick will give a sturdy base to hold up the entire construction, but it is not flexible enough for fine works to be done in the interior or the corners. Ask the Gyprockers in Sydney and see how they can gain the desired appeal. Apparently, Gyprock is widely being used in the residential and commercial platform to get an alluring look to the property.

How is it made?

Composing a gyprock needs a number of different elements. All the elements need to be mixed in a specific ratio to get the required outcome. The main component, however, is Gypsum along with which other materials which are mixed are specific kinds of paper, fibres in the form of fibreglass or asbestos. Along with the mixture bonding and water-proofing agents are mixed to get the best product. The best part of using the boards is that they are immune to dirt and dust, moulds, damps and seepage.

The bonding of the boards is very specific and needs trained hands and predetermined methodology to be followed. First, the gypsum layer is applied on specially formed paper and another sheet of the same paper combination is layered upon the gypsum layer is placed and pressed under predefined heat to create the perfect undetectable bonding. Upon coming out of the oven the sheet is again damped and made ready for another coating of waterproofing agent which is mostly made out of fibres. This quality makes the boards ready to face moisture without getting damaged.

A large category of the boards is manufactured having different specifications to meet the wide variety of requirements. The different categories include high waterproofing feature, greater sturdiness, organic plasterboards and produce depending on the final price. There are also made in different sizes and thickness where the thickness can range between 10 mm to 16 mm generally but can also be stretched to 25 mm on special occasions and as per client’s requirement.

The different names by which it is known

There are different names given to the same material. At some places, the material is known as plasterboards where others will be knowing it as drywalls, wallboards or gypsum panels. Gyprockers in Sydney will address it to be Gibraltar boards. You will definitely like the outcome of the project.
