5 Tips To Improve Apple Iphone’s Messages In Ios 13
Apple’s messaging app is one of the most-liked messaging applications by users, as it combines digital messaging with regular text messaging. That simply means users will get instant messages and SMS in one app.
Introduced in 2011, Apple has improved iMessages, which is now called ‘Messages’ with some of the excellent features. All thanks to its iOS app developers who have created custom emojis and added support to provide regular SMS texts on non-cellular iPads and Macs for its users. Although it has added some of the best features, Messages app doesn’t provide tough competition to the two giants, i.e. WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Here is how Apple can enhance its Messages app in iOS 13.
Save Media to Camera Roll Automatically
Apple hasn’t implemented the functionality of saving videos and photos automatically that received through Messages to the iPhone’s camera roll. Currently, users are saving photos and videos manually, so we are hoping for this feature in iOS 13.
Easy to See Time Stamps
Although it is a small quibble, it's an improvement for Apple. Presently, users will see timestamps of individual messages in Message, but they are veiled. It is must for Apple to make it viewable below the received iMessage.
Display Security Notifications
All iMessages are end-to-end encrypted, one of the best things about Messages, which means no one can read the iMessages, except the sender and receiver. Thinking of how encryption works? It sends keys with the messages through the device and those keys enable the other person's device to decode them to read the message. However, when a person purchases a new device, their keys change, but the sender doesn’t get notification by Apple that their friends have a new encryption key.
It would be great if Apple provides a warning message that their friend is using Messages on a new device and he/she has a new device’s keys.
Favorite Messages or Star tick like Whatsapp
Apple hasn’t added Star or Favorite a message like WhatsApp. This feature enables users to highlight their favorite message. So, we are hoping that Apple’s iOS app developers to add Star or Favorite feature in iOS 13.
Instinctual Forward or Delete Individual Messages
Currently, users have to tap a minimum of three buttons to forward or delete an individual iMessage, which is too confusing and they even don’t have an idea that the forward and trash buttons are hidden behind the ‘More’ menu. It would be great if the delete and forward options are displayed in the popup menu, which is available right after users tap on the separate message.
The Closing Thoughts
We are expecting these features in iOS13, however, if you want to develop Messaging app with all above-listed features, then you can hire iPhone app developer from reputed iOS App Development Company.
