If you are probably a person who has received both root canal as well as a tooth filling treatment then you may not feel a lot of difference between them, but there is a lot of difference that we are going to know about in this article. And we do not have a differentiating manner in this article, and instead, we will be talking about both root canal treatment and also the tooth filling treatment. So, you might just get excited because in this you can both know the difference and can also get an idea about them if you don’t know the 2 types of treatments.

Let’s start with root canal treatment
When we see this from the doctor side it is a bit different for him or her but the experience of the patient receiving it is the same. You will X-rays which will determine your infection clearly. And you will also be able to see the shape of the root canal in the infected tooth. The doctor or the dentist will take a look at it and then will place a sheet of rubber on the infected tooth. And if you don’t know what it is, it is called a dam and is mainly kept to stop the flow of saliva towards the treatment area. And then the doctor will be drilling into the tooth until he or she reaches the pulp as well as the nerve area.

Now all these will get removed and then the root canal will be cleaned. As soon as the canal is cleaned, they will get sealed. Now a temporary crown will be placed on the tooth for protecting it. And after a few days or on the same day you may get a permanent crown.

Tooth filling
This is a relatively quick process with minor discomfort. As soon as you get, they’re for your treatment you will be injected with an aesthetic in your tissues, gums that are around your infected tooth. The dentist will then leave you free for a few minutes until your teeth get the effect of the medication. Once your mouth gets numb the dentist along with a dental assistant will remove your tooth. And then they will cement a filling into it. Then they will drill to remove all the signs of growing bacteria. Then they will use a composite filling to cover the drilled area.
