2018 has already turned the corner and a new year begins to draw on the next horizon. Looking ahead, consultants and companies map trends and plot their bets. In front of us, we will see the transformations follow their increasingly intense course of evolution and new pressures on companies and IT leaders will arrive. There are a few interesting numbers indicating what to expect in 2019. Bain & Company Consulting notes an explosion in the volume of new applications and cloud services, while KPMG indicates that an as services (PaaS) platform will be a rapidly growing and next year.
Here are three trends that come in the wake of this cloud mass-some even fade the obvious-and it's cool to keep an eye on. While some concepts will be available as early as next year, others will take more time to come to fruition (but 2019 will be a critical year for its materialization). Check out.

1. More secure

On May 25, 2018, the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is now enforced, setting a new standard for privacy and security of personal data on the Internet. The standard is focused on citizens of European Community countries, but as the cloud sees no border, it affects companies around the world.

The rule is an important step forward for privacy rights, reflecting on any company that stores or processes information. According to a study released by IBM, most organizations surveyed (60%) are adopting GDPR as an opportunity to improve privacy, security, and data management or as a catalyst for new business models, rather than simply a problem or impediment of compliance.

2. More hybrid
