Even though purchasing an aircraft with a damage history is not necessarily a bad idea, it is important to thoroughly understand the type and extent of the damage. You should also ensure that the repair work has been done properly and duly documented. You should be aware of the number of hours the helicopter has flown since its repair. A lot of people who are interested in buying a used helicopter might hesitate to buy one with a damage history. Since it is a factor that heavily impacts the resale value, it is crucial to thoroughly examine this aspect.
