Consider A Juicer Blender Combo Before Buying A Blender
Total Articles: 1
Is deciding on one appliance that does two things a good idea for everyone? well, technically no. There are certain advantages to purchasing a juicer blender combination, but not all of them are an advantage to buying a juicer, and a blender separately.
The first example of this comes down to noise and options.
For example, if you want to choose a juicer for leafy greens, your best bet is always a masticating juicer, also referred to as a cold pressed or slow juicer. The auger inside of these juicers does a lot better of a job at liquifying ingredients that don't normally contain a lot of juice. If you buy one appliance to juice and blend, you're more than likely going to be stuck with a centrifugal juicer. To discuss some of the differences between the different types of juicers, check out the articles on Everything About Blenders
. There are not any models (that we've seen) that are a masticating juicer and blender combination. There are also a lot more options available on the juicer side of things if you buy both units separately.
On the other hand, buying one unit that takes up less counter space can be huge for the average consumer. When the device is not being used, they're often taking up space in the cabinet or cupboard as well. The benefits of having a smaller singular unit can definitely start adding up quickly.
Let's talk about a few of the options.
Breville has the most attractive option for a combination juicer blender
, but it comes with a price. This machine is more expensive than some of the others in the market, but you get what you pay for in the world of electronics. This unit has a 1200W motor compared to the others at 800W, and 500W. The difference in motor size will be observed when blending things such as mangos with thick tough skin.
Are you considering a raw juice cleanse?
For someone that is considering a temporary juice cleanses, buying one unit for the diet could prove to be easier than buying a designated juicer, and a blender. When purchasing a less expensive model, you will absolutely save more money in the end on a combination unit.
