Although we are completely aware that there is not definite cause of PCOS. At times it is also understood that it could be because of your family history. If your mother was affected and your grandmother was also affected with PCOS then there are chances that you might also face it. However, that’s not definite but lifestyle also plays a major role in this.

Since many women are still not aware about PCOS, we urge everyone to support PCOS awareness. Hence, women need to know about PCOS and also understand its symptoms so that they can act on time. PCOS causes a lot many problems and there are ways to handle it. PCOS symptoms have to be acted upon.

The symptoms of can cause a lot of disturbances too. Hair thinning or losing, weight gain, and polycystic ovarian syndrome can cause irregular periods too. This is a major drawback for any woman. If they don’t menstruate, their hormones are bound to lose balance and this is the reason for many other problems. The biggest problem of irregular periods is infertility. Women face infertility and by the time they want to conceive they find out that they have PCOS and then they have to work on their lifestyle and align their hormones.

Due to the cysts in the ovaries they don’t function properly and cause an imbalance in the hormones. These cysts generate more of male hormones – testosterones. This is what causes a major problem in conceiving. PCOS diagnosis and treatment is essential to understand and it should be followed religiously. Getting symptoms controlled as soon as possible can decrease a woman’s chance of developing any of these other conditions. When these symptoms are faced women tend to lose confidence and this is why they are unable to either open up about it or give up working on it. PCOS and depression and anxiety are connected with each other. Because of their conditions it becomes very obvious that women with PCOS face depression and anxiety.
