Chicken Tikka and its variants are a delight for all the non-vegetarian foodies out there. This dish with Tandoori Mustard is also one of them. So, enjoy it some time and try to make this mouth watering recipe on your own.

This delicious, tasty flavorful Tandoori Mustard Chicken Tikka is a simple recipe to make. It is prepared with chicken breast, chickpea flour, so many masalas and curd. Just try this North Indian yumminess once.

Ingredients for Tandoori Mustard Chicken Tikka:

- chicken breasts-1 1/4 pounds

- garlic-8 cloves

- low fat yoghurt-2 tablespoon

- virgin olive oil-2 tablespoon

- dijon mustard-1 tablespoon

- coriander powder-1 teaspoon

- dried fenugreek leaves-1 teaspoon

- cayenne pepper-1/2 teaspoon

- fenugreek seeds-1/4 teaspoon

- cumin seeds-1/4 teaspoon

- salt as per the required taste

- small onion-1

- chickpeas flour-2 tablespoon

- lime juice-2 tablespoon

- mustard oil-2 tablespoon

- cumin powder-1 teaspoon

- garam masala powder-1 teaspoon

- ground fennel seeds-1 teaspoon

- nigella seeds-1/4 teaspoon

- black mustard seeds-1/4 teaspoon

- saffron-1 pinch

How to prepare Tandoori Mustard Chicken Tikka:

Step 1) Put chicken in a big mixing vessel.
Mix all rest components (except whole seeds) in the jar of a food processor or blender & process to a soft paste.

Step 2) Fold it in whole seeds, then pour some marinade on the chicken, tossing pieces for coating finely. Close & refrigerate it for at least four hrs & up to the whole night.

Step 3) When you are ready to grill, heat barbecue to moderate. Lift the chicken pieces out of marinade (reserve marinade) & then thread on skewers.

Step 4) Grill skewers closed, basting sometimes with reserved marinade till cooked fully & lightly charred, around eight minutes per side, and then turning once.

Step 5) Once the chicken is almost done & marinade has cooked off, brush lightly all over with melted butter or mustard oil, grill it for one or two minutes till it done & then remove.

Step 6) Your Tandoori Mustard Chicken Tikka is now completely ready. Have it with lemon wedges, a fresh salad & the warm naan.
