Usually, South Africa has been at the top among the travelers wish list when it comes to experiencing safari. But the time has come to change the taste and consider Kenya, a country well-known for its picture perfect Savannahs packed with wildlife. Interestingly, the animal population is so dense in this country that even Nairobi, its capital and an urban part has its own game reserve i.e. the Samburu National Reserve. Along with that there are two most beautiful districts in the country where communicating with elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and buffalo is like a normal part of your day! And the two districts are the Mara and Mount Kenya.

To make safari experiences more enjoyable keeping the local culture alive today you can find a wide range of Kenya Lodge Safaris that the local tribes manage and get financially benefitted out of it and the share of profits they receive goes towards environmental and wildlife conservation.
Isn’t that a great initiative to keep the tribal people and Kenyan culture intact! Let us check out what all is covered in these Lodge Safaris Kenya.

The Samburu National Reserve
The Samburu National Reserve mostly gets overshadowed by the well-known Masai Mara in the minds of the visitors but this national reserve offers the wilderness of a Kenyan safari experience. Besides the premier wildlife sightings what attracts most visitors to Samburu National Reserve is that it is the home to the impressive Samburu Special Five that includes Beisaoryx, reticulated giraffe, Gravy's zebra, Somali ostrich and the elegant gerenuk antelope.

Lake Nakuru National Park
One of the finest National Parks of Kenya, the Lake Nakuru National Park is flanked by rocky cliffs, sacks of acacia forest and at least one waterfall, the park is beautifulthroughout the year and is home to black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos and endangered Rothschild's giraffes. The southern end of the lake is considered as the best spot to get a glimpse of the rich wildlife. And the forested area below the Flamingo Hill is the most favored place for lion spotting, here you can find the lionesses sleeping in the trees and the leopards can be spotted here as well!

Lake Naivasha
Grassy banks and covered with cacti and sand olive trees, Lake Naivasha is the highest lake (which is at 1884m above the sea level) of the Rift Valley. It is a vast area that extends like a sea. Besides the lovely blue lake there is a lot more that makes this place one of the most adored one for the visitors. Here, you can enjoy taking a ride among giraffes and zebras, get a glimpse of the hippos on the lake and a lot more. Lake Naivasha is just a short drive away from Nairobi but still is much quieter and away from the hustle bustle of the capital making it a great place to explore on your Kenya Lodge Safaris.

Masai Mara
The perfect destination for game viewing, Masai Mara is an unmatched inventory of wildlife. Wish to have a look of the Big Five? Then Masai Mara won’t disappoint you for sure as the densities of animals here make it nearly impossible not to see them! The best and dynamic time to visit Mara is during the great migration of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and many other animals travel to and from Kenya. You will be astonished to watch the sheer volume of wildlife during the migration. What makes this migration even more exciting is that the natural predators of these animals i.e. lions and hyenas follow them, so be prepared to witness a life or death drama on the African plains.
