You can earn a bonus of up to ₹20,000 and commission of up to ₹60,000. But, this will be specifically based on the type of work you do and how much it is liked by your employer. Moreover, you can also ear a few extra bugs of up to ₹10,174 as profit sharing.
The earning can also vary based on the tool and die maker course you opted for and your experience as a tool engineer. The more experience you have the more will be your salary. If you have an experience of less than 1 year, then you can expect your salary to be around ₹204,841. Those with an experience of 1-4 years can expect their earnings to be ₹250,666 on an average. Engineers with 5-9 years of experience, reported earn ₹350,000, and tool makers having 10-19 can earn ₹399,022. If someone has 20 years or more experience can expect their salaries to be ₹392,357.
In addition to this, your additional skills will let you earn some extra money. The additional skills may include Precision Machining, Mechanical Tool Repair, Grinding Tools, CNC/NC, CAD/CAM, etc. Your earnings may also vary based on the location where you are hired. At locations, where there are enough industries for this kind of work your chances to get hired and receive higher salaries also increase.
