She is a respected individual in the world of human-computer interaction and is invited as a chairperson for many conferences and programs relevant to the field.
She is highly skilled in design, evaluation of various systems including human-device interaction and implementation. She is truly interested in application of information and engineering of the information technology in health sciences. She served the research industry for almost 17 years and aims to gain expertise in public health, life sciences and patient care.
She has written dozens of books, articles and journals and her articles are the highest rated in International Journal of Medical Informatics in 2005. As a professor, she understands the importance of education and its process. She has helped many students with their careers and helped them to achieve their goals in life.
Julie Jacko did her B.S., M.S., and PH.D. in industrial engineering from the Purdue University and has achieved many awards for her knowledge and skills.
