The fourth major use of plumbing is sewage. Pipes of length grossing over millions of kilometer are there beneath the surface of the earth to carry the human and industrial waste to disposal sites t ensure that the world doesn't go back to the great stench of the industrial revolution, which surrounded the great cities of Europe and claimed lives of thousands of workers who paved the path of the modern world by working in inhuman conditions.
The pipes used all around us vary in sizes and shapes. The pipes used for supporting purposes are made from hard and durable alloys which are light weight but carry immense strength to hold up the great trading centers of the world. The pipes which are there in our walls to control the wires are some millimeters in diameter and ensure that wondrous electricity we use doesn't harm us. The pipes used for moving water are some centimeters in size and are waterproof so that rusting doesn't place. Plus these pipes are heavy duty so that immense pressure could be controlled if anything goes wrong on the backend. The pipes used in sewage start from a few centimeters and may extend to a diameter of a few feet. Most of these pipes are large enough so that fully grown man could get inside them in order clean them and maintain them.
