Wer nach Argentinien geht und sich fragt, was es denn dort zu essen gibt, muss sich auf gar keinen Fall sorgen machen, Natürlich sind Sitte und Kultur anders als bei uns in Deutschland, so auch die Nahrungsgewohnheiten,. Aber dies sollte kein Hindernis sein für einen Deutschen, der in Argentinien zu Besuch ist. Das Essen ist wunderbar und köstlich.
Hier ein kleiner Einblick in den Spezialitäten und Gastronomie Argentiniens
Zu aller erst sollte erwähnt werde, dass der Argentinier meist viel isst. Mit viel sind gemeint ungefähr drei oder vier Mahlzeiten täglich, wovon die wichtigsten das Abendessen und das Mittagessen sind. Man isst zwischen 12 und 14 Uhr zu Mittag und etwa um 21 Uhr zu Abend.
Argentinisches Frühstück
Oftmals wird man in Hotels oder bei Argentinier zu Hause das klassische europäische Frühstück wieder finden, das aus Orangensaft, Kaffee, Wasser, Toast, Butter und Dulce de Leche besteht. Dulce de Leche ist eine heiss geliebte Spezialität aus Argentinien, eine Karamell Creme, die auf dem Brot gestrichen wird.
Doch meistens handelt es sich beim argentinischen Frühstück um verschiedene Arten von leckeren Gebäckspezialitäten, genannt unter anderem golosinas, medialunas und facturas. Auch Criollos, kleine Kekse aus Blätterteig, sind äußerst beliebt. Gerne Getrunken wird der "mate", ein teeartiges bitteres Getränk mit yierba mate.
Argentinisches Hauptspeisen
Fleisch
Nicht umsonst bestehen die Restaurants in Deutschland auf ihr argentinisches Fleisch. Fleisch wird in Argentinien groß geschrieben und gehört zu dem besten Schmaus, den man sich in Argentinien leisten kann, Das argentinische Fleisch ist das Beste und wahrscheinlich das von Reisenden bevorzugte Essen. Es stellt den Hauptbestandteil der Ernährung der Argentinier dar. Argentinier essen täglich Fleisch in jeder Form. Ob nun die berühmten Asado, Steaks, Entrecotes, Filets, Sieta, Innereien, "chorizos" (pikanten Würstchen) oder den "mocilla" (Blutwurst), jeder wird das Fleisch in Argentinien lieben. Am liebsten wird das Fleisch gegrillt. Was besodners zu empfehlen ist, sind die "All you can eat" Lokalen, die sich " tenedor libre". Bei einem einmaligen Eintrittspreis kann man Stundenlang jede mögliche Fleischsorte ausprobieren, bis man platzt.
Empanadas
Empanadas sind gefüllte Teigtaschen aus einer Art Blätterteig. Diese werden mit allem Mäglichen gefüllt. Ob Fleisch oder Gemüse, sie sind in jeder Form ein reiner Genuss. Besonders für Vegetarier sind Empanadas eine gute Alternative zu den Steaks. Empanadas können sowohl als Hauptspeise, als Vorspeise oder als Snacks genossen werde.
Locro
Locro ist ein Eintopf, der aus Mais, Linsen und Chorizo besteht. Nichts für den leichten Magen. Besonders die Linsen machen das Gericht zu einem schwer verdaulichen Genuss.
Pasta, Pizza and more
Wer genug vom Fleisch und Steaks hat, kann sich mit Käse und Milchprodukte vergnügen. Dich den Einfluss der Einwanderer aus Italien haben immer mehr Pizza und Pasta Laden eröffnet. Heute gehören diese Speisen zum Standart der argentinischen Speisekarten, wie bei uns der Döner. Pasta kommen in jede Form wieder, die verschiedenste Saucen stehen zur Auswahl. Besonders der argentinischen Mozarella ist auszuprobieren. Auch hier können sich die Vegetarier wohl fühlen. Auch kann man an solchen Orte die klassischen Salat Bars finden!
