This isn't ideal when starting an 8 hour day at the office. Add a motor to your bicycle and suddenly the physical exertion required is halved. You can cycle in with your work clothes on and not worry about perspiration. By the same token weekend bike trips will be easier. You can get up that hill without needing to collapse at the top. You will get light exercise along the way though- gently improving your fitness.
