Different Methods Of Buildings Ventilation   By: Oleg Tchetchel
A vital element in the successful breeze conditioning system is a supply of clean, cooler, fresh air. While such an ideal air supply may not be available, common sense dictates that air being supplied into the building should be from the best available source. Avoid recirculating air that has just been exhausted from the building or another nearby structure.(read entire article)

Dust Collector Ventilator    Submitted in different name as: Oleg Tchechel
Sawdust, metal shavings, and other waste is easily transported away from work areas to a specified collection point for simplified clean up and removal. Vacuum systems are also used to provide suction for the manipulation of components, various materials and forming processes. These systems usually consist of long runs of relatively small diameter pipe or ducting. This results in the need for high pressure low flow fans.(read entire article)

Energy Recovery Ventilator And Fan    Submitted in different name as: Oleg Tchechel
Ventilation systems designers have realized the benefits of using Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs) in commercial and institutional buildings. However, as with many newly adopted technologies, questions of how best to apply this product are being raised. One application issue in particular is whether to apply an ERV as a stand alone unit on its own curb, or as a bolt-on accessory to a rooftop air conditioning unit.(read entire article)

Explosion Proof Fan Ventilators    Submitted in different name as: Oleg Tchechel
A common material used by fan manufacturers in achieving spark resistance is aluminum. The AMCA standard provides a warning that aluminum rubbing on rusty steel will create sparks. It is the end user's responsibility to ensure that steel surfaces are suitably coated, and that fans are kept clean from iron oxides. The AMCA standard allows fans to be constructed of any material which has “demonstrated ability to be spark resistant.” Metals containing less than 5% iron are allowed. Although aluminum is the most common construction material, copper, brass, Monel, and other metals are used where corrosion and temperature limit the suitability of aluminum. NOTE: Stainless steel does NOT comply. Non-metallics are often avoided as a construction material for the fan impeller due to the potential for buildup of static electricity. Some fan wheels are constructed of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) which has an electrically conductive surface coat. This coating should be electrically grounded to the shaft.(read entire article)

Fan Blower Vibration    Submitted in different name as: Oleg Tchechel
There is am issue in the fan industry that is causing significant changes in fan design and in the manner in which fans are marketed. As a result of the maturing vibration measuring instrumentation market, computer software and maintenance training programs have been adapted which equate “low vibration” with long life, igher quality, and lower maintenance costs. The fan manufacturers used to be the “vibration experts” and set the tolerance for acceptable levels of vibration.(read entire article)
