The trenchless technology is a type of construction system which doesn’t need any trenches or, in some cases, few trenches. It means a group of things, like, pipes, materials, machinery and techniques which are used to fit, install or change the underground pipe system without causing any disruption to the environment or traffic. It is widely used in the construction and the engineering fields. It is used to install different type of pipes, including the gas pipes, water pipes, electricity and telecommunication pipes, sewer pipes and many more.

Trenchless technology has many benefits compared to the open cut or other methods. Some of the benefits/advantages of trenchless method are mentioned below.

It is less disruptive and distracting. Trenchless method is environment friendly and doesn’t cause damage to the properties. It can pass underneath any area without destroying the surrounding landscape. The only places affected are the start and the end point of the site where the trenchless machines enter and come out from respectively.

The trenchless technology method also saves a lot of time and effort. The machines make the work easy and quick and the time is also saved when there is no need to dig and the restoration costs.

The trenchless technology also offers safety, both to the workers and people around as well as the landscape. It minimizes the dangers of any problems in the work causing huge damage to the land. The trenchless technology consists of specialized equipment making everything safe and trench free.

Where the open-cut method costs a lot, the trenchless method in the same way cost way less. In the trenchless method, there is no need to dig open the entire land.

In the trenchless method, the ground is not dug deep and not much of the land is disturbed. It protects from the unknown surprise and risks from digging deeper land which has not been worked on before.

It also avoids damaging the present pipes and systems under the ground. Through this method, the new pipes can be fixed as well as fix the new pipes or replace them with the existing pipes.

It causes less disturbance and disruption to the public and surroundings. There is less damage to the properties and no noise pollution. It also frees the environment from the air pollution caused by the other methods.
From the above points, it is obvious that the trenchless technology has far more benefits than that of the other methods, such as, with trenches, open cut etc. from less machinery and disruption to the low cost and cheaper system, it is beneficial in every way.
