Lothal and Dholavira

Lothal and Dholavira is the most remarkable place of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization or Harappan culture. Lothal, located approx 80 kms from the Ahmedabad, is the best place for history lovers. Its history and origin has been dated back to 2400 BC. Lothal is the oldest site of archaeology. The site was done by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) between the year 1955 to 19960.
