Although manufacturing of latex bandages are being reduced as many consumers have complained of severe allergic reaction. But if someone is not resistant to latex then these products can be helpful on the injury. These are used in compression and have increased durability of the wraps. Latex rubber bandages are widely used to force blood out of an extremity, compressing the superficial vessels. These are ideal for tourniquet use. These bandages are durable as well as compressible and can be adjusted per the need which makes them easy to use. These bandages can be in the form of sheet or film in different width and length. They can be plain textured or silicon treated.

These bandages can be sterilized form time to time and hence is quite an inexpensive solution for hospitals and clinics and for the animals as well.
