Guideline To Create Knowledge Craving In Your Kid
Total Articles: 14
Kids are very obedient to their parents, until they asked to complete their home-tasks given by their tutors. Well, it is a psychological effect that none of us like tasks that we are bound to do - just like a duty. And the basic reason is we don't enjoy it. No matter how tedious job we have been assigned, if we love the task, it becomes a fun. So, if you want your child to learn their lessons themselves, grow interest in them - make them understand the hidden fun of learning. Here are some golden tips by GCSE Maths and Science tutor Redbridge.
Be Loving - Not Ruling
You can bring a horse to the river by force; but you can't make it drink. No matter how strict you behave with your children it is not going to ensure that they will follow your instructions and go to start their lessons. Even if they start reading, there is a good chance they can't understand it. Yes, forcing a kid to learn decreases their interest and decreases their ability to learn. So, be friendly and loving to your kids and take them with you in all the activities just like the education so that they don't take it as a punishment.
Encourage Reading Comics & Story Books
Reading books of syllabus all the time isn't going to make your kid brilliant. Encourage them reading interesting story books and comics of their age. At least it creates a good habit of reading. Also it helps kids to learn new style of writing, new words and of course new information. Reading pleasing stories makes them thoughtful and imaginative which is very good in increasing power of brain.
Play Educational Games
I don't know any normal kid who doesn't love playing game - no matter it's a physical game or computer game, indoor game or outdoor game. So, choose some educational game and play with your kids at free times. These are very engaging and help your kids learn several theories through fun.
Pay for Educational Channels
While you can't stop your kids watching cartoons on TV, why don't you invest a few bucks more and add some educational channels in your package? These channels make great effort to teach complex theories through fun experiments, train several ways to draw picture in simple steps, helps building GK and lots more, and suggests GCSE Maths and Science tutor Redbridge.
Convert Discussions into Education
While we all discuss day-to-day things in our dinner table or free time, why don't you silently convert a normal discussion into an educational topic? Say, you are discussing about how you got drenched due to the heavy rainfall; immediately after you finish it, explain how the water cycle works and how it rains and why we should preserve rain water and so on.
