Apple has iPad models in three size categories, classified on the basis of their display screen. The small-sized 7.9 inch iPads, medium-sized 9.7 inch iPads and super-sized 12.9-inch iPad. The cost of the iPads increases from smaller to larger sized display screen. Depending upon the customers need and visual aspect, the Apple has manufactured all iPads in these sizes.

The latest iPad launched by Apple is iPad Pro 9.7 in March 2016. It comes in two versions as iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular and iPad Pro Wi-Fi. It is the most advanced (better than iPad Pro 12.9), best performing and costliest iPads available in the market.

Both versions are similar in almost all specifications except one feature. The iPad Pro Wi-Fi model will work only if Wi-Fi signal is available and in the iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular model, if Wi-Fi signals are not available then, it uses its cellular signals to go online (Cellular plan –monthly / yearly basis - set up at the time of purchase of iPad). The cost of iPad Pro Wi-Fi- Cellular model is more than the other model.

Its body dimensions are 240 x 169.5 x 6.1 mm and weights 437g (Wi-Fi model) and 444g (Wi-Fi + Cellular model).

The display screen of this model is 9.7 inches with a resolution of 1536 pixels by 2048 pixels which is of 264 PPI pixel density. The display of this model is amazing and supports a wide range of colour gamut and also includes True Tone display (i.e. Depending on the surrounding environment the warmth of the display screen is altered).

The primary camera is of 12MP and a secondary camera of 5MP. The camera feature includes 1/3’ sensor size, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/ smile detection, 4K video and 8MP image recording, HDR (photo/panorama).

The sensors on this device are Fingerprint, Accelerometer, barometer, gyro and compass. The battery performance is good, approximately can survive up to 10 hours of talk time.

The colour options available are of Silver, Gold, Space Gray and Rose Gold.
