The Importance of Protein
Muscle building needs protein from our body. Regardless of how frequently or how strenuously you exercise your body may not have enough protein to build the needed muscles. Note that you need to eat frequently first and that each meal should contain at least 20 grams of proteins.

Also, it is more important to eat more frequently than to have large portions.

Next, you need to eat a lot of proteins because our body can store fats, but not proteins. The more protein you eat the more muscles you can develop.

Eat at least 2 grams of protein per kilogram of your weight. So, if you weigh 70 kilograms, you should have 140 grams of proteins every day.

Drinking a Shake before a Workout works wonders!
Liquids work better than solids & powders. Drink a shake which is filled with amino acids and carbohydrates and protein. The carbohydrates will give instant energy and the other ingredients will change the way your body looks at protein. Slowly, you can expect to see the body shape you are longing for.

Consuming solid food is also essential. Consider liquid food only before and after your workouts when you need quick energy.

The Safe Bet when Building Muscles
Deciding on purchasing supplements is not easy. Many supplements carry heavier substances which may not benefit you in your early exercising routine. Here a basic Whey Protein will be apt as it won’t have any side effects.

Post-workout snacks are beneficial too!
Eat a fruit or have some soy drink just after your workout. Your muscles should have something after the exercises to recover. Even a small fruit with some whey protein can also do the trick.

Eating is beneficial for building muscle fiber. Studies have shown that your body requires vitamins, minerals and micronutrients after a workout.

Normal Food is Also Important
Your normal diet is very important. Try to include raw vegetables, fruits, yoghurt and eggs, lean meats etc. so that your body gets additional protein from all available sources. Many a time these bring along with trace elements which are beneficial in the long run.

Last but not the least!
Whenever you are exercising, sleeping well is equally important as is drinking water. Muscles help immensely for those muscles. Sleep helps your body recover from any damages and muscle tear.
