A Christian matrimony is an important event for the Christians because of many reasons. First of all, according to Christianity every marriage is based on God’s wish. So, a regular Christian guy, no matter if he is a Protestant or a Catholic, marriage is a very serious issue. Hence, wedding ceremonies have evolved to be some of the greatest Christian programs ever. This is when members and relatives of two families get together for uniting two human beings forever. However, we may see many of the marriages fall, but the wedding remains as bright as always. It is important to know that Christian people are scattered all over the world except in Saudi Arabia, this is a country where people from other religions cannot dwell. But we see Christians in most of the countries in the world. Now, due to cultural heritage and geographical location the look of the ceremony may vary, but the core ritual remains the same.

In most European and American countries the man proposes to the woman kneeling down in front of her, with the sweetest romantic line as to how much he is in love with her, with a ring in his hand asking if she consents to marry him. If the girl says yes, the man puts the ring in her finger and kisses her on the lips. That is the most common prenuptial activity we can see. However, a separate formal engagement ring exchanging ceremony is observed later.
After that engagement ceremony comes the day of Bridal Shower. In this day the family and relatives gives away their gifts to the bride. They enjoy the day with lots of fun and laughter. They also play games and throws party. The elderly relatives shower the bride-to-be with blessings and gifts. A big pink cake is also distributed among the guests by the bride herself.
After the Bridal Shower comes the big day. The wedding day is the most significant day of Christian matrimony. In this day the families, relatives and friends of both the bride and the groom get together as a witness to the matrimony. In this day the bride wears a gorgeous white wedding gown. This is so distinctively unique in Christian wedding party. The bride choose the dress very carefully for her. She also keeps a bouquet of flower held in her hand. The brides maid and other maids hands her over to the best man of the groom. He takes the bride where the groom is waiting with the priest. The priest speaks out the vows and the bride and groom repeat them. Then the priest declares them to be Man and Wife. He then asks the groom to kiss his wife. After the kissing part the bride and groom leaves for honey moon, on the way the bride throws her bouquet to her maids. Whoever catches it would be next to get married.
Nevertheless, the entire wedding day is managed by a wedding planner. Without the wedding planner it gets really difficult for the families of the bride and groom to maintain such a huge event. The wedding planner plans the entire Christian matrimonial event beforehand so that it can run very smoothly without any problem.
