Lord Ganesh And Goddess Laxmi For People Worship

Among the million gods worshipped in India, Goddess Laxmi and Lord Ganesh are two of the most worshipped gods among the Hindus. The relation between Lord Ganesh and Goddess Laxmi has three definitions based on the three sections of devotees. According to Shaivites, Goddess Parvati is the sister of Lord Vishnu and so, Goddess Laxmi stands to be the aunt of Ganesh. According to Shakthites, Parvati being the mother of all Goddess Laxmi is his aunt. And according to the Vaishnavites, Lord Vishnu gave rise to Lord Brahma and eventually Lord Vishnu gave rise to Lord Shiv and so, Goddess Laxmi stands to be the grandmother of Lord Ganesh. Whatever the case may be, an idol of Laxmi and Ganesh on Chowki is like alchemy, consisting of both “the Goddess of Wealth” and “the God who fulfils all the desires of devotees”.
An idol of Laxmi and Ganesh can be found made of metal or stone ware or fibers. They can also be found in different sizes.
An idol of Laxmi and Ganesh should be placed in the Ishan corner for best results. It should never be kept under a stairway. An idol of Laxmi and Ganesh should not be placed in bedrooms; else positive results may turn out to be negative.
The benefits of an idol of Laxmi and Ganesh on chowki are:
.Worshipping both the deities in an idol of Laxmi and Ganesh together means welcoming wealth along with intelligence as Goddess Laxmi brings in wealth while Lord Ganesh brings in intelligence.
.During the festival of Diwali, both the deities should be worshipped together. It is said that on every Diwali night, Goddess Laxmi visits every household and blesses everyone with great wealth.
.An idol of Laxmi and Ganesh is said to be the remover of all obstacles. Any Vighn or problems in terms of career, job, health or any other issue can be solved reasonably.
.It is said that to seek Goddess Laxmi’s blessings, one has to worship Lord Ganesha. Thus, An idol of Laxmi and Ganesh serves all the purposes of being bestowed with the blessings of Goddess Laxmi.
.Lord Ganesha is known as “the Lord of beginning”, i.e., if one is wishing to start a new venture or to begin a new project or to initiate a new job, one should start it with a Ganesh Puja for prosperity in that field.
.An idol of Laxmi and Ganesh helps one to master a field without any professional master. This could be very reliable for students for their studies.
.People worshipping an idol of Laxmi and Ganesh will never face lack of food or wealth. They are bestowed with those attributes.
Thus, to remove any obstacles and to enjoy one’s fruit of worship, one should worship the deities together.
