Many time clocks use badges having bar codes, magnetic strips, or pin number keyed to a part to provide unique identification to each employee and track their productivity and work hour schedule. Possibility of fraud due to employees sharing badge and pin numbers is present but it greatly reduces the transcription errors and delays. This facilitates easy recording of all payroll data along with easy transmission to a central file. This not only leads to reduced workload on the payroll employees but also curbs employee dissatisfaction in terms of their complaints and subsequent hassle of rectifying payroll errors. Dealing with payroll issues complaints becomes quite stress free and smooth. Because of precise tracking, the tardy employees are easily identified by it and appropriate disciplinary actions taken on them.
