The best quality chocolate is the Dark Belgian Chocolate which is made up of Original beans. But then you have to realize that there are a lot of other different varieties of chocolates available in the market. These chocolates are imported from other countries and they are known for their taste and rich quality.
Here is a list of the different types of chocolates –
1. Unsweetened chocolate
This type of chocolate is also known as Baking chocolate and contains less amounts of sugar. Chocolate liquor is used for making these chocolates. This type of chocolate is used for making other different types of chocolates. A lot of bakers say that this kind of chocolate is the best as they can control the sweetness and taste while making and baking.

2. Bittersweet chocolate
This kind of chocolate contains at least 35% of liquor, sugar and cocoa butter in different amounts. You shouldn’t get confused with Bittersweet chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate. But both of them come in the category of dark chocolates. The term bittersweet means when the sweetened liquor is added with cocoa butter.

3. White chocolates
You can’t say that they are a kind of chocolates as there is some confusion. The truth is that there is less amount of liquor present in such kind of chocolates. This chocolate contains 20% cocoa butter, 14% milk and sugar in different amounts.

4. Ground chocolate
This is also known as powdered chocolate. But you shouldn’t confuse this with dark cocoa powder or dark chocolate as this is something different. Ground chocolate is used specifically for making chocolate drinks and should never be used in place of unsweetened cocoa powder.

5. Single bean chocolate
There are so many other names given to this chocolate. This chocolate is made from single type of bean which belongs to a specific country. But this is not necessary as there are many local bakers who make this kind of chocolate using the beans found in their parent country.
These were some of the best varieties of chocolates which you get in the market. You can bring them all together and try making a whole new different kind of chocolate. It will prove to be a great experiment as you might end up discovering a whole new variety of chocolate.
