Most of us are familiar with the fact that as 21st century has evolved- so as the technology has evolved with it. That time has gone when we used to rely on desktops for even the slightest information. It’s a time when we carry whole world in our pocket wherever we go and there is no uncertainty in it at all, is there any?

Mobiles have clearly taken the unbeatable place in the market. It’s estimated that by the end of 2018, over one third of consumers worldwide, will use smart phones, or more than 2.56 billion people will do. It’s estimated to represent over half -51.7%- of all mobile phone users.

Whatever the trend may come with change, but it surely will transform the overall outlook of Web Marketing. Most of us prefer to use Mobile phones over desktops, if they want to search anything informative, and it has clearly change the way we look at marketing over years.

Most of the success of online marketing depends upon, how the website is presenting itself, either on Mobile devices or Desktops.

WEBSITE DESIGNING
As the time has changed so as the way we ...
... design our websites has changed with it. A lot of work has been done on responsive images, ensuring images not only fit in small screen layout, but the files that are downloaded to mobile devices are smaller, too!

RESPONSIVE MENUS
Responsive menus plays important role in success of any website or marketing campaign. If your website is responsive and appealing then surely it’s going to lead lots of traffic to your website. There are several ways by which menus can change on different devices.
• It could have different styling, looking different on every browser.
• It could have unlike content, with the links adapting to the device they’re being viewed on.
• They could come into sight in a different position on the page or screen.

We all can agree on the fact that, we are in point where we are making websites that are “Mobile ready”, But doing so we still plan our focus on the desktop, with mobile designing just an add –on. For the past couple of years, ‘Building Websites Mobile-ready’ is the topic of debate for developers and marketers. You hear people discuss things such as mobile websites versus responsive design and which is the right one to choose.. Mobile design and optimization can no longer be considered secondary, or an add-on, or something that you should do “too.” In fact, today, it is “desktops” that should be considered as the secondary device.

There are some points that affect the trends between Mobile v/s Desktop Marketing and there are some common points that describe it clearly.

Mobile Design V/s. Desktop Design

Mobile is no longer a thing from future — it’s the present. I’m not stressing that you don’t need desktop site, you do- But as mobile becomes more and more natural for searchers and information gatherers, and you must have a mobile site that meets their needs. Failure to do so will get you in trouble.

Mobile Social Sharing V/s. Desktop Social Sharing

As per recent studies social sharing is very active on Mobile devices as compare to desktop and Majority of users are likely to share content online using Mobile Devices. Many sites use social sharing plug-ins for desktop that don’t work well on the mobile site. Either they are too bulky to use or are not so effective.

Mobile Optimization V/s. Desktop Optimization

There are very few issues about optimization that differs from mobile to desktop. There are certain Optimization techniques that are good for both mobile and desktop, and there are certain- which aren’t. In fact, when it comes to optimizing for mobile, it really comes down to design issues, as noted above, and optimizing for local search.

Mobile marketing is the future. Any marketing firm that value importance in invoices knows that the key to future success in marketing field is to adapt the mobile marketing optimization. Mobile devices and Tablets are taking over the market and that’s surely going to create history.

Mobile marketing has clearly taken over. If you don’t start putting mobile at first priority, then it won’t be too long until you start losing the possibility of attaining leadership position on the web.
