Different Effective Ways To Revive Your Tired Skin
What makes your skin look tired? A whole range of factors: pollution, natural ageing processes, sun exposure, and most importantly, your lifestyle.
Of course, there’s no avoiding everyday outdoor activities (and no need to), so how does one make their skin look amazing and healthy all the time?
Here are some little things that can go a long way.
Get Your Beauty Sleep :Your skin needs rest, just like your body. Depriving yourself of sleep releases hormones that fuel dryness, inflammation, and puffy eyes – which end up making your skin look super-tired! Give yourself at least seven to eight hours of quality sleep to help your skin repair the damage it suffers every day.
Eat Well :Your diet influences your skin more than you realise! A balanced diet with tons of green leafy vegetables, whole grains, seeds, and fruits will work wonders for your skin. On the other hand, fried and excessively sugary foods will tire your skin out. Opt for lots of water and fresh fruit juices instead of tea, coffee, or sugary drinks. Small changes like these make a big difference to your skin!
Stay Hydrated ...
... : Dehydrated skin looks tired and dull. Start your day with a big glass of water, and stay hydrated through the day to keep your skin fresh and glowing. Add a slice of lemon in your water for an extra Vitamin C boost. It’ll liven up your skin in no time!
Get Your Blood Pumping : Exercise! Not only does it flush out your toxins, it also increases blood flow to your skin cells and restores their vitality. Boosting blood circulation will perk up your tired skin almost instantly! Another way to get your blood pumping is to give your skin a good massage (you could do this with moisturiser or coconut oil).
Rubbing an ice cube over your face or splashing cold water on it will also make your skin come alive instantly.
Choose the Right Products : Picking the right products is key to complete skincare. Choose products that suit your skin type which helps in keeping it lively and free from blemishes.
Exfoliate and Clean : Your skin has its own immune system. This means it will attack germs, shed dead skin cells, and form new skin cells every day. To keep dead skin and debris from building up, wash with a face wash, twice a day. Exfoliating twice a week will keep your skin free from dead skin cells and help it look fresh. If you have acne-prone or sensitive skin, exfoliate less frequently and be gentle!
