Wanting to buy a LED TV? Don’t know what to do? With so many options and so many advertisements and so many different types of TVs, how do you know which one to buy? Well, it really is a tough choice, especially when there are so many of them that do exactly the same task.

But buying a TV shouldn’t be a difficult thing to do. It’s just a TV and is for entertainment purposes only! So, don’t stress yourself out! We understand that as a dedicated cricket fan or a movie buff your TV is important to you, and it’s more than just a TV. So, we’re going to help you pick one that’s perfect!

The bigger the better!

It’s a TV and anything that gives you an experience close to the one you have in the theatre is a good idea! When you’re buying a TV make sure it’s big, but also that it suits the room perfectly. If the room is small a big TV will be places too close to the viewer and thus ruin the TV viewing experience. If you are looking for an upgrade from the old fat TV to flat one, the size may seem too big, but believe us, you’re going to love it.

Don’t let the numbers fool you!

When you look at the specifications for a TV, all you will see is a lot of numbers, most of them you don’t understand. They end up making you feel all the more confused and lost! The important ones include the resolution. Most HD TVs have a 1080p resolution. Avoid getting one with a lower resolution!

Technology!

We’ve all been there when the fat TVs were replaces by LCD TVs, and then we all know what one of the major issues was! With an LCD TV you need the perfect angle of the picture looks dark and it’s almost like watching a black and white movie! That’s why LED TVs were invented. LED TV, like it name suggests is made of light emitting diodes, which also means they consume less power!

Refresh rate!

It’s the number of times the screen is refreshed in a second. Measures in hertz, it is usually 60 or 120 Hz. This means that the screen is refreshed 60 or 120 times every second. However, the refresh rate may not be the same for the show you watch; in that case the TV uses interpolation to fill the gaps.

Contrast ratio!

It is the difference between the darkest shade of black and the brightest shade of white. The greater the contrast ratio the better; however some manufacturers measure the contrast ratio differently. To make sure you can read reviews or try and test the TV in a dark environment to test how dark the black looks. In case of a bad contrast ratio black would appear more like a faded shade of grey!

With so much to look for, make sure you make a wise decision and pick the perfect LED TV for yourself!
