Floor preparation

Levelling

The final step will be the levelling of the finished surface which is important for finer look and feel. The finer floor finishes includes fixing tiles, vinyl, carpet, wood or epoxy paints. While pouring the levelling substrate one must ensure it is free from dust, plastic droppings, grease, paint, polish or any other substance that can spoil the necessary bonding that the floor screed needs to have with the base. If anything is left unnoticed it will hamper the perfect look and finesse.

The flooring is completed by running a spike roller on the surface so that air gaps are removed and the base looks complete without cracks or weak pressure points that break easily.
