They may also indulge in in-house legal advising for local authorities, companies and the government.

Though the responsibilities and duties of a solicitor may vary as per the setting they work in, but still there are some common duties that they mostly need to follow, they are:

Drafting necessary documents, papers, contracts and letters.

The normal working hours of a solicitor-

In general a solicitor in Sudan works around thirty seven hours per week, but sometimes they have to work for longer hours. There are certain jobs that may demand for duties and calls on weekends and bank holidays. The solicitor may also have to attend police stations at any time of the day or night.
