1. Persistent coughing

3. Dizziness

Going through a heart attack may leave you feeling dizzy. In severe cases, heart attacks may leave you unconscious. In such instances, dizziness may indicate that you have arrhythmia, a heart problem due to abnormalities in your heart rhythm.

4. Irregular or rapid pulse

Doctors say that a skipped heartbeat is not often dangerous. However, if irregular or rapid heartbeat comes with other symptoms such as shortness of breath, dizziness, and weakness, you may be suffering from a heart attack. An irregular or rapid pulse may also indicate that you have arrhythmia or heart failure. Make sure that you do not ignore such manifestation as untreated arrhythmia cases often lead to heart failure, stroke, and even death.

5. Shortness of breath

It is normal for you to feel out of breath after engaging in a particularly strenuous physical activity. However, if you feel as though you have run a hundred miles when you have barely even moved from where you are, then you might be experiencing a symptom of a heart attack. Some cases may also come with chest discomfort. However, you can feel short of breath without such discomforts.
