S/O Satyamurthy is a Telugu family drama written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by D. V. V. Danayya and S. Radha Krishna on Haarika & Haasine Creations banner. In late August 2014, the film was planned for a simultaneous release in trilingual versions in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Later a dubbed Kannada version along with Tamil and Malayalam was planned to cash in on Upendra's popularity and to increase Allu Arjun's decent market in Karnataka.
