Everyday emotions, life,choices yet not a word is spoken. This dance piece, concieved by Jackson Foltyn takes three people into a world of love,lust,anger and guilt. "Film Noir" marks Foltyns first staging piece for his new dance company "Attitude."

A never seen before piece using the works of Alban Berg and Gyorgy Ligeti to transmit the message of what life is like when hiding from truth. "I felt that the Film Noir movies had music that brought in the viewer." Audience members coming to see this will see not only art at its best but will be able to follow the story within the dance. Although the ensemble only consists of three dancers the audience can follow without the quantity of dancers distracting from it. "I feel as an artist, the story line comes first. Before dance there has to be a focal center which in this case is murder." Foltyn continues "My philosophy in choreographing is the story has to be relevant so that the movement on stage will be prominent."
