Brands Ambassadors And Promotional Staff – The Basic Difference
Total Articles: 27
In the purview of engagement marketing, your brand will be exposed to all kinds of public attention. This is achieved with the help of the staff who are associated with the campaign. It is their inherent attitude that works behind the campaign, thereby making it a successful one. By bringing in the best people to work in the campaign, a brand is able to achieve the recognition.
The staff is divided into different categories and each of them has a unique role to play. Staffing agencies share the lingo of promotional staff and brand ambassadors in order to distinguish between their event staff. These two categories basically cover the entire crew that is involved in various advertisement and marketing campaigns. Although both of them share the common platform, few features make them unique in their own manner. Let’s discuss about each of them one at a time:
Promotional staff (or promo staff)
These mainly belong to that category of staffs that are mainly associated to promote a product or brand in a particular premise. Their job is considered a very limited period of time and they are not responsible for the success or failure of the brand. Their presence is required to create a genuine interest among the crowd and keep them engaged.
Promo staffs generally are selected basing on their physical properties, such as fitness, attractiveness, attitude, etc. For instance, if you are organizing an event that requires a few people with particular physical attributes - say 5 feet tall, fair complexion, American accent – you are actually looking for “promotional models”.
Brand Ambassadors (or BRs)
BR stands for all kinds of staff an experiential agency uses to promote the brand name or products of their clients. They can be trade show hosts, promotional models, event staff, event hostesses, etc. These are thoroughly trained people who are actually responsible for the successful initiation and completion of a particular event. They are the people that stay at the forefront of your event and create engagement.
The people playing the role of BAs are highly enthusiastic and
energetic, have unique improvising techniques, and a to-do attitude.
They speak for your brand and are the eyes and ears of your brand in different kinds of events and ceremonies. For example, if you find a person speaking about your products or service in a particular occasion, you can think them to be the brand ambassadors of your company.
Whatever the differentiation may be, both have their own unique roles to play and are considered highly important in their own fashion. A staffing agency requires both these kinds of staff in order to promote your product or service. Find the right marketing agency and you can easily find highly skilled people for both the categories. You can search over the internet to find some favorable options. Understanding the difference will help you in determining the kind of staff you need for your various events. This will further help in simplifying the situation as well as minimize your staffing expenditures.
