Maintaining Good Eye Health Is Always Important

We all know and agree with one fact that health is wealth. A good health plays an important role in every aspect of life. No matter it is your personal life or educational or professional, if your health is not good and you don’t feel fit and it will affect your work. So we should take good care of our health.

One of the important part of our health is our vision. Which is very crucial. Because with troubled eye sight we are unable to see things. And if we can’t see things clearly it is sure then, we will lose our independence to perform any work.

First of all, our daily diet is very important, for our overall health and as well as for a good eye health. By eating healthy foods we can start the process of achieving a good eye health. Nutrients like vitamin c and e along with omega-3 fatty acid is very important for eye health.

Also, we need to eat a good amount of green, leafy vegetables, fishes like salmon, tuna to help you get a proper diet. Carrots and other orange colored fruits are very good for eye health. Because it contains a type of vitamin A which helps the retina and other part of eyes work properly.

Secondly, I would like to suggest everyone to wear sunglass whenever you are going to explore yourself in the sun. But make sure your sunglass gives you 90 to 100 percent protection against UVA and UVB rays. Sun light can lead to eye diseases like brown cataract which is also called sunshine cataract, macular degeneration etc.Also, if you are working in an industrial field it is important to ware safe glasses.

Research shows that, smoking has a significant effect on eye disease. So if you are thinking of quit smoking, it will be a good decision for your overall health.

If you are working on computer whole day long, it is time to take a break and think of it. Working long hours can lead to symptoms like dry eyes, headache, blurry vision eye strain etc. So make sure when you work on the computer keeps a good distance between the computer screen and your eyes. Also make sure your eyes and the top of the computer stays on a same level. Also take little breaks within your working hours.You can also choose a comfortable chair for your working hours.

But the most important thing is to have a regular eye check up which is very necessary for all age groups. Because sometimes eye disease also causes due to genetic factors. And it can be only cured or prevented through medical check ups.
