If there is one kind of food that is loved by people all over the world, it has to be the non-vegetarian segment of food items.
Every region in the world boasts about its own variety and cuisine in the non-vegetarian menu. But not every meat s considered fresh as there is a method that is adopted to keep meat fresh for a longer time. One of the forms of the red comestible is halal food - a form that is preferred and gaining prominence among citizens of the world. There are many reasons that make halal food one of the safest forms of meats that may be consumed in ways more than one. There are a whole lot of recipes that are made from animal meat as it is not only a staple diet in some countries but traditions and customs also demand the serving of meat to its guests. In some parts of the world where this food item is not regularly served, meat is considered a special delicacy if prepared during occasions. It also gives a higher impression of the status of the inviters that have held the occasion. Some non-vegetarian food is prepared in manners that the pure vegetarians might find intriguing as these servings may be cooked ...
... partially or not at all cooked. For instance, Japan serves its most piquant dish called sushi that involves raw fish cut into slices or dices and served in the form of salad. With no cooking involved, such meat poses a danger of inviting life-threatening diseases and germs. When halal Food is prepared, there are certain guidelines that are kept in mind. These guidelines are laid by the Islamic rules and are prescribed in the holy Quran, a book reciting the rules for Islam and its followers laid by Allah Almighty himself. These rules are to be followed by every restaurant and caterers that prepare halal meat in London or any part of the UK. Not only in the UK but the diktat has to be strictly adhered to by all the preparers in all the parts of the world. Though the guidelines may be strict, it is well evident that they are meant to do good to the health of Muslims that are bound to eat meat as it is said to be one of their staple diets. One of the rules for preparing halal states that an item that contains blood would not be served as a meal. In order to serve a meat form, the blood from it should be completely removed and drained. This not only keeps health of the consumer safe but it also helps in keeping meat fresh for a longer time. Another rule states that any animal that has not been killed after pronouncing the name of Allah shall not be deemed fit for consumption. Guidelines are also set for the slaughtering of the animal whose meat is to be served as a cuisine. A process called Dhabiha describes the method of killing the animal in a more humane and painless way. The process involves introducing an incision in the neck of the animal such that vital blood supplying nerves are cut off, thereby leading to brain impediment. This method does not cause any harm to the spine of the animal that is considered the most sensitive part of the body for any organism. As each and every step of Halal Meat Preparation is closely scrutinized and followed strictly by all halal meat preparation units, the aforementioned rules imply that halal meat is undoubtedly one of the safest forms of meat, and a healthy and tastier one too.
