Following a request for a site visit from a warehousing client, Partwell’s Technical Sales Manager Ken Schooley conducted a free of charge inspection on their signage to identify any recommended improvements. It is good practice to identify where signage could be implemented, which could result in the improvement of co-ordination within the working environment.

In this particular company sheets of paper where being used as signage and they were easily damaged. Ken recommended several new signs designed to aid visitors unfamiliar with the layout and a full written quotation was provided to ensure clarity of work recommended, cost and time scales. Coloured transparent acrylic was used for its excellent UV resistance and premium quality surface finish.

We are very proud to announce our new Twin Head water jet cutting machine used for rapid cutting of sheet materials to produce precision finished parts. With a bed size of 3000 x 1500mm and water pressure of 60000 psi the water jet cuts nested products from CAD based files with significantly less waste than other cutting methods. This has further increased the cutting capacity and capability here at Partwell. A launch event was held for the machine of which Mike Damms, Chief Executive of East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce attended. He said it was companies like Partwell who kept building on their experience and raising their standards who were the unsung heroes of the UK’s economy.
