Impact Management Group’s Secures Patent Protection over Key Cloud-Based Accounting Technologies

Impact Management Group (Impact) is pleased to announce that it has secured Australian patent protection for key aspects of its software products.
Australian Innovation Patent 2013100837, certified 22 September 2014, provides important protections over Impact Management Group’s unique and innovative systems and methods of managing accounting data. Specifically this patent is directed to technologies whereby users can share their cloud hosted accounting records with accountants, who are enabled to submit reports directly to the ATO on behalf of the users. The technology extends to cloud hosting of Auskeys, and provides an arrangement whereby a user may quickly and conveniently share their lodgment permissions with their accountants, hence streamlining the lodgement process for Activity Statements, PAYG, tax returns and other reports.
