Mazda6 Given “technology Choice Award” By Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association
Total Articles: 5
The 2015 Mazda6 has received the “Technology Choice Award” from the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association. This is the second time that the organization held its Family Choice Challenge on April 25th this year.
Why the 2015 Mazda6 won
According to the President of the association, Nick Palermo, Mazda6 won for two main reasons. The first one is style, which is noticeable at first glance. It features striking lines that represent what a real show car is all about. It is sleek and classy and comes with an interior that is meant for the tech-savvy. However, this does not mean that it is overly complicated. It is a combination of a sporty and family car, which makes it an extremely appealing vehicle.
The second reason why this car won is because of its overall substance. While it looks really attractive on the outside, the inside is even better. It delivers comfort to all the passengers, while making sure that it provides efficiency for the driver as well. The visual appeal matches the competence of this vehicle that not all sedans can match.
A Family Choice
With all the features and benefits that the Mazda6 offers, it is easy for you to conclude that this is the clear winner out of all the cars in the competition. If you are a parent, you know that you absolutely love midsize sedans and the Mazda6 is exactly the one that you are looking for. This is yet another reason why the car is chosen to receive the Technology Choice Award from the GAAMA.
Families will fit perfectly in a sedan like Mazda6 since it is just the right size. It is not only stylish, but it also comes with useful technology. Since it is Mazda, you already know that it comes with engineered technologies that will make it more than just stare-worthy, particularly with the design.
One of the technological features that this car has is SkyActiv technology, which is responsible for making it fuel efficient. This technology helps the car become a little less light. It now comes with i-ELOOP, which is a new feature that is a regenerative engine braking system which is based on the capacitors.
When these two features are teamed together, fuel economy becomes even much greater. Normally, the vehicle returns about 26 miles for every gallon when driven in the city. On the highway, it is about 38 mpg for a combined 30 miles per gallon. However, when both SkyActiv technology and i-ELOOP are used at the same time, the vehicle will be able to save as much as 28 mpg for cities and 40 mpg on the highways for a combined 32 miles per gallon. This is applicable for the automatic version, which is your best bet if you would like a more fuel efficient model. On the other hand, the manual models will return about 25 miles per gallon when used in the city while and 37 mpg on the highway.
Is This Car for You?
If you are looking for a family car, you know that this is for you. As it won the Technology Choice Award at the GAAMA during the Family Choice Challenge, it is easy to say that this is a great car for families. It is a midsize sedan that looks exceptionally attractive. At this area, you will truly be satisfied. It is dramatically styled and the design is made to support the car’s ability to make its way through corners. It is also quite affordable and lets you save as much money as you can on fuel.
Overall, this car is a great car for families. It offers excellent driving dynamics, above average comfort and convenience, while making sure that it is stylish on the inside and the outside. Indeed, this midsize sedan has it all.
