Karnataka government is planning to bring much-awaited reforms for revenue related issues in order to check fraud land deals, corruption in sub-registrar offices and illegal formation of layouts. In recent times several fraudulent land deals has jittered the Bangalore real estate. Over the past new years real estate Bangalore have openly been flouting building norms. By bring strict regulations the government is trying to safeguard the interests of investors of properties in Bangalore.
The city is seeing a boom for properties. The IT city has first-class infrastructure and top amenities that allures the middle class to buy properties in Bangalore. The development of integrated societies and the accentuated lifestyle has caught the eye of many a buyers. With advent of various reforms in revenue department, real estate Bangalore will witness a a visible change in the coming months.
The state government is planning to either come up with new rules or probably amend laws to restrain registration of revenue sites, curb mushrooming of illegal layouts and stop corruption in sub-registrar offices that are in and around Bangalore.This change will have a positive impact on the Bangalore real estate.
The state government is thinking of computerizing the registration of properties by speeding the ongoing process of including Bhoomi or land records and Kaveri or land registrations, the two prominent e-governance schemes of the government. The introduction of the new system will not only ease the registration procedure but it will also end bogus registrations and corruption in and around the city.
The government is looking forward to bring such amendments to the relevant act so that fair and just compensation can be offered to land owners whose livelihood will be lost on account of governments acquisition.
The Karnataka government is also developing a concrete action plan to recover land. The state government is working towards making realistic and time-bound action plan to recover over 4.5 lakh acres of public land which has been encroached.According to some estimates about 13, 02,241 acres of public land has been encroached upon in the state, which has disturbed real estate in Bangalore.
The new congress government would also positively look into implementing the proposal of the previous BJP state government of formation of 43 new taluks. The government plans to implement the process in a phases manner. The Karnataka government also aims to fill as many as 237 tahsildar posts that have been lying vacant posts. Alongwith this the governmant also aims to fill 619 Revenue Inspectors posts and 1,036 vacant Village Accountants posts so that it can easily develop mini-vidhna soudhas in all taluks.
