Chicken, considered to be poultry, is another type of meat that is consumed world wide and can be found in just about every type of dish that you can think of. There are some types of meat which are considered to be more specialized because of the lower numbers with regard to consumption. These types of meat are considered to be more exotic because they are harder to come by and are not typically found on the average restaurant menu. Some of these types of meat include venison, elk, bear, and other types of meat. These are generally more of a specialty meat and may only be available in certain areas where that species of animal exists.
