Why The Paleo Diet Entices Mixed Responses

The Ohhh Paleo word generally seems to just upset a few people, whereas for some it is an exciting topic. What is so special about the Paleo diet that has brought up so much of the controversy? We have received some requests in order to do an article on pole and hence this is an attempt to provide an unbiased view on this particular topic. If you have not heard about the Paleo diet till now then you are still living under the rock; but despite this you are more likely to follow the Paleo diet. The Paleo diet is a special type of diet; this type of diet was taken by our ancestors. This diet is about the time when our ancestors were primarily hunters, gatherers, having lots of hair, having large noses and living in caves.
The Paleo diet consists of large amounts of vegetables, eggs and meats, different types of starches, fruits, nuts and seeds. Here in this diet, there are no grains, no processed foods or any kind of dairy products. The Paleo diets are supposed to be excellent for your health and most of the dieticians inform that it is a must to take the Paleo diet. The main argument of Paleo diet is that it does not provide enough of carbohydrates. But I personally believe that there is no dearth of carbohydrates in the Paleo diet. This diet actually cuts down the intake of all types of processed food. Now look at a bag of candy or potato chips and take a look at the nutrition facts and then now look at the nutritional details of bell pepper, chicken breast – compare the details of carbohydrates. The items may have less of carbohydrates, but not so low that people are arguing.
Another impression that Paleo diet has created is that it is a primitive style diet; but this diet is not at all a crazy diet as it may seem. This diet is a much better as compared to other types of debt. I am a firm believer that a person must incorporate this type of diet in their lifestyle. Paleo diet has been in the news for all bad reasons, but that is not the fact. It is my personal opinion that one must go for this diet. Humans are omnivorous and hence it is not that crazy to eat plants and some types of meat. Those who follow the Paleo diet just do not take any kind of processed foods – for e.g. If you are an athlete then you should take more of sweet potatoes, avocados and nuts and in case of normal person eat all these items very less. If you take a proper Paleo diet, it is best for your body.
