Starting a business is a good idea, but setting it up is one hectic process. You have to buy/rent an office. You have to buy/build furniture for your office. You have to hire employees in your office. Argh! I have gone through all these before 3 years. Now, my business is running good. When my office was in set up stage I had to make a decision between new office furniture and Second Hand Office Furniture and I decided to go for second hand furniture, of course, because it was the most convenient way for me at that time. But, finding a good dealer was the only part which was really hard.
Let me give you step by step instructions to get a better Dealer.
The first stage is the most initial stage in finding a good Second Hand Office Fsurniture dealer. It is the research phase and the best ground for research nowadays is Google. Search for the dealers in your area and make a list of them all. Now, search each dealer by his name/company name of Google and find an official site. Once you have made a list of the dealers’ website, go ahead and search for the reviews of each company. This will help you filter many bad dealers and you will get the list of reliable dealers.
You have the list of Second Hand Office Furniture dealers on your hand and now its time to go on a little adventure. Call them all one by one and schedule an appointment and once you have set appointments, schedule your week in a way that you can cover all the dealers. This will help you take the most out of your day. Now, make a group of the dealer have their warehouses in the same area and start your week by visiting the nearest area.
Find a carpenter in your circle who can help you with testing the furniture you will browse in the dealer’s warehouse. Once you have found a carpenter, take him with you to every dealer. If possible, pay some money for the time he is sparing for you. By doing this, he will check the furniture thoroughly for you. Once you have shopped in each warehouse, filter the list again and take out a dealer whose furniture is not that good in quality.
I followed these steps when I was shopping for second hand furniture and these steps actually helped me find a great dealer. Some of the furniture I bought from that dealer is still at my office and it is still in a good condition.
